Conferences Preview:

  1. Nov. 29–30, Celer is coming to Seoul, Korea for BUIDL Seoul 2018!! 🙌 🙌 Our cofounder Qingkai Liang will join the panel on “Solving the Trilemma with Novel Ideas”. Please stay tuned for more details on our schedule! This is our first time in Korea, we are very excited to meet our Korean community members! Looking forward to seeing you! Let’s #BUIDL!



2. Dec. 7–9, Celer Network will join ETHSingapore, 2018. We had a blast during the ETHSF. We hope to meet more talented developers around the world in Singapore. Mo Dong, co-founder of Celer, is honored to be one of the judges for ETHSingapore. We can’t wait to meet you and see what you can build with Celer SDK. 🙌 More updates are coming soon! Let’s #BUIDL!


Meetups:

  1. Nov. 16 in San Francisco, USA, Celer and Aelf organized a meetup together. Xiaozhou Li, co-founder of Celer, and Guanglei, chief architect of aelf gave two talks on various of ways for scaling solutions. Thank you all for coming to learn and enjoy Friday with us. 2. Nov. 17 in Beijing, China, Celer and Nervos co-hosted a developer meetup. Mo Dong explained in depth on how to build and operate internet scale dApps on Celer Network. We appreciate all for joining us on Saturday.


During this meetup event, Celer officially announced strategic partnership with Nervos. Together, Celer and Nervos will refine layered blockchain architecture towards mass adoption. 3. Nov. 18 in Beijing, China. Mo was invited by community members to host an invite only developer workshop and meetup. At the meetup, Mo demoed our app and let everyone tried it out themselves.



Talks:

  1. Nov. 15, Junda Liu, co-founder of Celer, was invited to present at Stanford University. Junda explained current blockchain challenges and possible ways to solve them.


Technical:

Backend:

1. Finish the design of mobile API refactoring

2. Implement the off-chain support for ERC-20 token

3. Support transactional operations on levelDB

4. The implementation of other features such as leaderboard and dynamic deposit/withdraw is in progress.

Mobile:

iOS app:

  1. Off-chain play: fixing various UI bugs
  2. On-chain play: researched dispute and on-chain APIs

Android app:

  1. Implemented a better localization strategy, fixed bugs in Chinese version
  2. Implementing the refactored Celer APIs for cApps using builder pattern and callbacks
