Dear Community,
Happy Weekend! Here is our 37th weekly project progress report on our community building and technology development! Meanwhile, you can also follow our Twitter account for more updates from Celer Network.
Past Events at New York Blockchain week:
Last week, the Celer team was in New York City for The New York Blockchain week. We’ve attended the Consensus — the annual gathering of the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology world, and met a lot of industry leaders.
We’ve also hosted and attended meetups and hackathons during the week.
1. The Future of Layer2: NYC Edition
The future of layer2 meetup was a huge success. Speakers from Celer, Nervos, SKALE, Matic, Loom Network, Connext Network, L4, Alacris, Abridged and Matter Labs had an exciting tech panel on the latest developments and breakthroughs across scaling solutions. Thank you to everyone who attended the meetup and shared your insights with us!
Our core developer Michael also took part in the panel at Layer 2 Meetup: Blockchain Week NY edition during the New York blockchain week.
2. NYC State Channels Summit
Ethereum’s state channel protocol researchers & engineers gathered to find a unified and shared path forward in Manhattan. We hope this marks the start of an exciting journey towards an interoperable future of Ethereum State Channel networks.
3. May 17–19, 2019 | New York, USA. ETHNewYork, An Ethereum hackathon proudly hosted by ETHGlobal
The Celer team spent the weekend at ETHNew York, the biggest Ethereum hackathon ever held in New York. We are happy to meet all the amazing hackers at the hackathon, and some of them were building interesting applications on Celer platform. We will have a detailed medium article on ETHNew York post up soon. Stay tuned!
