With cBridge hitting $2.1B in transaction volume, we have been seeing an increase in the number of community requests asking for the support of new chains. Today we are thrilled to announce that the Harmony chain has been added on cBridge! Users will be able to make instant and low-cost transfers of USDC and ETH between Harmony, Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism and all of the other chains supported on cBridge.
Harmony is an open and fast blockchain. Its mainnet runs Ethereum applications with a 2-second transaction finality and its fees are less than 1% of that of normal Etherum fees.. Their secure bridges offer cross-chain transfers with Ethereum, Binance, and 3 other chains. They are an open platform for your assets, collectibles, identity, and governance.
Harmony has attracted over 220 applications, $1.66 billion in assets, and 9,418 artists to its ecosystem to-date.
Celer’s support for Harmony will start with USDC and ETH. In order to help bootstrap liquidity, we are launching liquidity mining sessions for both the USDC and ETH pools starting from 05:00 Jan 12 UTC. Total daily rewards for the USDC and ETH pools are 29589.0411 and 9895.89041 CELRs respectively.
The first round of liquidity mining will last for 32 days. In the initial bootstrapping phase, cross-chain transfers will be disabled, and will be enabled once sufficient liquidity is added.
