With this integration, Celer is introducing quick and easy token bridging to Gravity starting with the bridging of the Gravity (G) token, the native token for Gravity network. This enables users to transfer this token between a multitude of different blockchain ecosystems including Gravity, Ethereum, and BNB Chain with ease.

Celer is supporting asset bridging initially via a liquidity pool-based method, for G token transfers between external chains and Gravity. This is particularly important since Galxe will be transitioning their main utility token from GAL to G tokens, making bridging support for G tokens a necessity.
Additionally, there is potential to integrate Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a generic message passing protocol, to seamlessly enable developers to build dApps with cross-chain application logic within the Gravity ecosystem in the future. This would enable dApps to not only create smooth cross-chain UXs between Gravity and various external blockchains, but would lay down the foundation to build a cross-chain state verification feature for verifying on-chain readable states—which is what we are working towards in our next steps with Gravity. All of these and more are not only possible to accomplish with Celer IM, but can be offered to users as a single-click, single-transaction UX.
