Celer is excited to announce that we’ve launched cBridge support for Unichain, a DeFi‑native Ethereum L2. This development represents another step towards achieving seamless interoperability across blockchain networks. With this integration, Celer is introducing quick and easy token bridging to Unichain starting with the bridging of ETH. This enables users to transfer ETH between 12 different blockchain ecosystems and Unichain including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, and more!

Built on the OP Stack, Unichain is designed to be “the DeFi chain” — fast, interoperable across the Superchain, and with community‑aligned economics—with 65% of sequencer revenue committed to validators. Unichain’s ambitions of ultra‑fast block times (1‑second blocks, with sub‑block times planned) and user‑aligned economics—makes it a natural home for high‑performance DeFi and cross‑chain liquidity. Together with Uniswap’s developer stack and ecosystem, this creates an efficient venue for on-chain markets and liquidity routing.
Celer is supporting asset and token bridging initially via the xLiquidity model, a pool-based method, for token transfers between external chains and Unichain. Additionally, there is potential to integrate Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a generic message passing protocol, to seamlessly enable developers to build dApps with cross-chain application logics on Unichain in the future. This would enable dApps to not only create smooth cross-chain UXs between Unichain and various external blockchains, but would lay down the foundation to support NFT bridges, the ability to purchase and bid on NFTs across different chains, and cross-chain reward claiming. All of these and more are not only possible to accomplish with Celer IM, but can be offered to users as a single-click, single-transaction UX.

To contribute to the prosperity of the Unichain ecosystem, Celer is also supporting the Farming Rewards Pool for ETH Liquidity Providers.
Farming Reward Details:
- Rewards: 5480 CELR per day
- Start Date: starting from mid next week
- End Date: no farming end date as of now
- Note: farming rewards are subject to change in the future based on pool utility
This initiative creates a win-win scenario: liquidity providers can earn additional farming rewards, while users benefit from consistent and ample liquidity availability, ensuring smooth and reliable bridging transactions at all times.
