Following our recent Celer IM integration and support announcement for Oasis Sapphire, Celer is excited to announce that we’ve launched cBridge support for the Oasis Sapphire mainnet as well! With this initial integration, Celer is introducing seamless token bridging to Oasis Sapphire by supporting the bridging of ETH, USDC, USDT, WBTC, BNB, and MATIC. This enables users to transfer these tokens between different blockchain ecosystems including Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon with ease.

Celer is supporting asset and token bridging initially via the xAsset model, a lock-and-mint method, for token transfers between external chains and Oasis Sapphire. Additionally, with Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, already integrated with Oasis Sapphire—it seamlessly enables developers to build dApps with cross-chain application logic. dApps are not only able to create smooth cross-chain UXs between Sapphire and various external blockchains, but can support stuff like dApps that use a decentralized ID system using personal information like height, age, or medical data. That data can be stored on Oasis Sapphire as a confidential NFT/SBT, where the NFT owner may grant/revoke permissions to access the data. Using Celer IM, messages querying and verifying the data can be passed between the normal EVM chain where the dApp is and Oasis Sapphire. These types of uses and more are not only possible to accomplish with Celer IM, but can be offered to users as a single-click, single-transaction UX.
